We are looking for a Senior Manager focused on Research Development and Advisory.This role involves conducting indept research to offer scientifically backed solutions to the agency and industry stakeholders.You will also lead transformative projects to enhance crossborder road transport services and oversee knowledge management within the organization.
Key Performance Areas:
- Research expertise: Conducting indepth research in Trade and Economics Corridor assessment and Strategic Analysis contributing valuable insights to inform decisionmaking.
- Project and Program Leadership:Managing projects and programs effectively.
- Knowledge Management: Overseeing the organizations knowledge sharing and leveraging insights for continuous improvement.
- Resource and People Development: Leading the development of resources and personnel and fostering a high performance environment.

- Transportation (systems) engineering expertise
- Transport regulation policy and planning expertise.
- Transport economics Physical distribution management and Supply Chain expertise.
- Cross border draft and passenger industry knowledge.

- Certified by recognized Transport Institution and project management institution

Requirements

Qualifications:
Minimum NQF 7 qualification in Transportation Economics or Project Management.
Postgraduate degree would be an advantage.
Experience:
At least 10 years of proven experience in transportation research and sustainable transportation planning.
Strong track record in executing sectororal projects.
Experience in crossborder road freight and passenger transport sub sectors would be an advantage.
