Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Management Specialist to join Joint Venture & Infrastructure Project Management. Saudi PM Teams are responsible and accountable for the delivery of best in class capital projects. JV & Infra PM is directly involved in executing and managing assigned projects safely on schedule within budget and to the highest standards of integrity and compliance. This will involve engineering design procurement and construction of various sizes ($) types and complexity of small medium to multibillion dollar mega projects.

Project Management Team manages and executes projects usually from multiple site offices or engineering contractor design offices geographically scattered throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The PM Specialist is a companywide recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of Project Management. He provides expert advice and guidance in one or more specialized areas of Project Management including but not limited to project planning project execution and project controls. As an SME he utilizes his extensive experience and knowledge to optimize project planning improve design and construction quality and to improve project costs and schedules. The PM Specialist is an expert in one or more disciplines that directly affect project performance including but not limited to planning and scheduling project execution estimation cost engineering geomatics value engineering and other Value Improvement Practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance in project planning project execution and project control.
  • Assist in resolving project management problems related to the area of expertise including addressing project planning deficiencies project quality defects (in engineering procurement or construction) schedule delays and potential cost overruns.
  • Collaborate closely with project engineers and other project professionals offering work direction and guidance.
  • Develop and implement strategies aimed at improving project planning cost control scheduling and overall project quality.
  • Evaluate existing tools and methodologies within the area of expertise and make recommendations for their implementation at This Company.
  • Lead internal or external problemsolving teams as directed by management.
  • Conduct training courses in the area of expertise.
  • Provide training and mentorship to developing engineers and other project management professionals.
  • Participate in the development of standards guidelines instructions policies and procedures as needed.
  • Participate in the review and evaluation of the capabilities of E&C contractors suppliers and project management partners.

Requirements:

  • This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran Saudi Arabia.
  • Hold a Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business from a recognized and approved program (advanced degree preferred).
  • Obtain a Professional certification by AACE (Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering) PMI (Project Management Institute) or the professional engineering boards.
  • Possess fifteen (15) years of experience in the project management field.
