Senior GL / Assistant Controller
Hybrid Detroit MI
$90K $115K Equity Benefits
Reports to the Controller

This is a Hybrid role requiring being located in the Detroit Metro area. Full time/perm position with equity and benefits where you will own the creation and maintenance of accrualbased accounting financial statements for a distribution company.
Qualifications:
GL Accounting experience over AR/AP Accrued Liabilities and Payroll
Bachelor or Master s degree in Accounting or Finance
Quickbooks Online experience required
Netsuite or Shopify experience is a plus
US GAAP knowledge required
Sufficient ERP enterprise systems knowledge required
Subsidiary to parent reporting and responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Accounting for Shopify sales and expense transactions based on Shopify reports
Perfoming bank reconciliations in Quickbooks Online
Posting vendor bills
Posting monthend accrual entries
Running monthend balance sheet and income statement
Inventory and basic cost accounting management
Drafting full BS P&L and Cash Flow financial statements
Budget vs. actual variance analysis experience
General Ledger, Quickbooks
