The ideal salesperson must be able to demonstrate a high level of skill in identifying and closing top decisionmakers within midlarge companies preferably with multiple office locations. A proven track record in prospecting via networking and participation in various industry groups is a major plus. Qualified candidates must demonstrate the ability to see projects through from planning to completion be entrepreneurialminded and be strategic thinkers who can provide the best possible solutions for clients.



Job Duties
  • Develop new business while applying fullcycle methodologies and tools including identification qualification positioning competitive analysis and closing timelines
  • Manage and grow existing accounts using exceptional sales and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Ability to dig deep and uncover the goals of an organization and fully explain how our client might be able to help them achieve those goals
  • Responsible for the development execution and delivery of quality solutionfocused client presentations at a C level
  • Involvement in the relevant community trade and professional organization
  • Maintain a positive work attitude strong work ethic and embrace a teamcentric environment
  • Other responsibilities as necessary or assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree (B. S.) from a fouryear college or university in an appropriate field or equivalent onthejob experience
  • Must have 35 years minimum successful BTB AV or AVIT sales experience in audiovisual or related industries
  • Proven ability to listen extrapolate information and leverage resources to effectively provide solutions to customer needs
  • Ability to effectively learn technical products services and solutions and readily apply new knowledge required
  • Ability to identify and build relationships with seniorlevel decisionmakers
  • Accurate and timely forecasting
  • Challenger Sales Training is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer interface skills
  • Superior time management skills
  • Audiovisual installation and venue/event management experience is preferred
  • Applicable manufacturer training and certifications are preferred


Requirements: University graduate or equivalent experience with further studies in AV installation, data or voice communications, or drafting. Minimum of 4 years' experience in an electrical and/or communications environment. Understanding of project management practices and customer service obligations. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, communications, and computer products and equipment. Proficiency in oral and written English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Familiarity with building construction and blueprint reading. Experience with the AV Commercial Integrator Navigate system, specifically for change orders and delay notices feedback to the Project Manager. CTS-I Certification Preferred
