Title: CICS Systems Programmer

Locations: Plano TX

Hybrid Schedule: 3days onsite

USC/GC/GCEAD

Handson experience performing CICS systems programming and problem resolution in a mainframe z/OS sysplexed operating system environment with Intermediatelevel knowledge and understanding of both CICS and OEM products and how they interact. Ability to read CICS dumps and traces is a plus.

Knowledgeable across CICS Architecture (performance testing monitoring operations) Design (compliance security) Connectivity (planning securing)

Understanding in the following platform products and features within z/Series CICS: CICS Transaction Server CICS Plex System Manager(CPSM WUI) VSAM RLS CICS Webservices(CWS Sockets IPIC TCPIP) CICS Security(Keyring Certificates TLS resource access ACF2 RACF) USS (Unix Systems Services) CICS connectivity (LU6.2 MRO ISC CWS Sockets TCPIP EXCI)

Knowledge of these OEM products: CAFC SYSII Mainview Xpediter Abendaid/FX

Knowledge of SYSPLEX and CICSPLEX design architecture support

Ability to consultatively articulate complex technical findings to more experienced management in clear concise understandable terms

Proficient knowledge and understanding in the following key areas:

Hardware Architecture (performance testing monitoring operations)

Hardware Benchmarking (Agile program managements network management)

Design (compliance security)

Network Engineering (planning provision)

Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technology

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities including:

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

Provide technical expertise throughout the software lifecycle including design implementation and delivery.

Understanding or have experience with agile and lean philosophies

Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communication

Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
