Our Windows Systems Programming team is responsible for managing maintaining and supporting the Windows infrastructure which comprises 250000 Workstations and Servers globally including the Corporate Data Centers. The core mission of the team is to provide a standardized consistent and stable Windows operating system platform as a foundation for critical UPS lineofbusiness applications.

About this role:

The Senior Systems Programming Analyst is responsible for the design development testing securing and 4thlevel support of the Windows operating system and related technologies. This will include the development of configuration installation and automation scripts leveraging PowerShell.

Minimum Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of the Windows Operating System; configuration operation and troubleshooting

Demonstrate knowledge and use of PowerShell for configuration and automation

Familiar with the virtual environments and how to access resources

Solid understanding of core network communications concepts including TCPIP DNS DHCP etc

Knowledge of general computer hardware

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience

Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S. an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
