Education Qualification:
A graduate engineer from any engineering stream preferably with a management degree or diploma in Project/Design/Operations Management.
Work Experience Required:
14 years of work experience (fulltime/parttime/internship) in project management within a reputable design team or consultancy.
Skills Required:
- Ability to handle internal relationships and resolve conflicts.
- Understanding of project structures scheduling and planning.
- Strong communication analytical and multitasking skills.
- Ability to conduct review meetings and provide management updates.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets is preferred.
Job Description:
Assign talent and resources to projects: This involves allocating the right people and resources to different projects based on their skills and availability.
Clarify project scopes and deliverables with stakeholders: Ensuring that everyone involved in the project understands what needs to be done and what the expected outcomes are.
Coordinate capabilities workload and resources across multiple projects: Managing the resources and workload across various projects to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop resource plans using resource scheduling tools: Creating plans for how resources will be used throughout the project using resource scheduling tools.
Document changes in scope issues and risks: Keeping track of any changes issues or risks that arise during the project and documenting them for reference.
Establish project requirements: Determining what resources (human information materials technology) are needed for the project.
Establish project timelines activities resource plans and cost estimates: Setting up the schedule activities resource allocation and estimated costs for the project.
Provide feedback to direct reports and junior team members: Giving feedback to team members on their performance and helping them improve.
Track projects against established targets: Monitoring the progress of projects to ensure they are meeting their deadlines budget and quality targets.
Track staff skill sets and certifications: Keeping track of the skills and certifications of team members to ensure they are properly qualified for their roles.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors: Working closely with internal production quality and purchasing teams as well as external vendors and tooling partners to ensure smooth project execution.
