Key Responsibilities

• Developing testing and maintaining web applications using PHP and other web technologies
• Writing clean scalable and efficient code
• Integrating userfacing elements with serverside logic
• Building and optimizing databases for maximum performance and scalability
• Implementing security and data protection measures
• Participating in the entire application lifecycle focusing on coding and debugging
• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features
• Staying updated on emerging technologies/industry trends and applying them to operations and activities
• Working on multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
• Conducting software analysis testing and debugging
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in existing software and applications
• Supporting the production environment and ensuring business continuity
• Documenting code technical specifications and user manuals
• Providing technical support as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• Proven work experience as a PHP Developer or similar role
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML CSS JavaScript AJAX etc.
• Experience with PHP frameworks (e.g. Laravel CodeIgniter)
• Strong understanding of databases and SQL
• Familiarity with version control/GIT
• Understanding of MVC design patterns
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• Solid understanding of software development best practices
• Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and passion for writing clean efficient code
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools is advantageous
