Role: SAS Developer

Job Location: Whippany NJ 2 days must in office

Technical

• Handson experience on SAS EBI suite
• Handson experience on working in Unix/Linux and Shell scripting
• Responsible for Monitoring reporting and controlling SAS Server usage
• Good debugging skills to identify issues in Data and at Infrastructure level.
• Can describe existing technology infrastructure across all major functions/departments and has a comprehensive grasp of emerging technologies:
• Has a competent understanding of safe and effective support practices

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

• Hands on experience in SAS BI on SAS 9.2 SAS 9.4 Grid platforms including SAS Connect SAS/Intranet Server SAS OLAP Server SAS Metadata Server SAS Object Spawner
• Knowledge on tuning the SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence Server Platform to optimize the Server Performance
• Experience with databases like Oracle.
• Strong understanding of software languages platforms tools ITIL framework and methodologies such as SDLC and agile

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in migrating SAS Enterprise Server to SAS Grid in Linux environment.
• Experience in Infrastructure analysis tools like Ganglia App Dynamics
• Ability to schedule and Monitor Jobs via Tivoli Work Scheduler LSF
