Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Assistant to join our team. The Sales Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our sales department by handling logistics, assisting with sales activities, and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong willingness to learn and contribute to the success of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Handle logistics and shipments, including customs clearance, packing items, and coordinating deliveries.
  • Provide support and assistance to sales managers, sales engineers, and application engineers for various requirements, including preparing sales materials and documentation.
  • Act as the lead for commercial excellence initiatives in the Megger Middle East region, ensuring adherence to best practices and driving continuous improvement.
  • Generate and manage quotations using SAP or other relevant software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Utilize Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes to forecast sales and inventory needs, contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Provide support for HR-related tasks, such as onboarding new hires and managing employee records.
  • Assist the General Manager with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Initiate customer phone calls to gather feedback, address inquiries, and maintain strong relationships.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Must be Bahraini
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficient with computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP (or similar ERP systems).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, engineering or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales support or administrative roles is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
