Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laparoscopic surgeries with precision and expertise
• Diagnose surgical conditions and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Conduct preoperative and postoperative patient consultations
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Oversee the implementation of evidencebased practices in surgical procedures
• Participate in research and continuous learning to stay updated with advancements in laparoscopic surgery
• Lead and mentor junior medical staff and residents
• Ensure compliance with medical and ethical standards
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department
• Participate in oncall duties as required
• Adhere to patient privacy and confidentiality regulations
• Contribute to organizational development and strategic planning
• Collaborate with administrative staff and contribute to organizational policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in General Surgery
• Fellowship or additional certification in Laparoscopic Surgery
• Valid medical license to practice as a General Surgeon
• Demonstrated expertise in laparoscopic surgical techniques
• Proven track record of successful surgical outcomes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong decisionmaking and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• High level of ethical conduct and professionalism
• Experience in mentoring and supervising medical staff
