Job Title: Data Scientist
Location: LeidenNetherlands
Job Type: 8 Months
Work Type: Onsite
Job Description
Desired knowledge experience competence skills etc
- strong scientific and engineering expertise especially in forecasting simulating and/or optimization.
- Ability to write productionready code review PRs and contribute to maintainable usable and extendable codebases.
- Strong understanding of cloud services especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including Cloud Storage or BigQuery
- Strong understanding in common software engineering toolsets like Docker Git Python
- Ideally experience with opensource MLOps tools like Metaflow BentoML KubeFlow or similar
- Ideally Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and automated testing and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions
- Ability to work in crossfunctional teams with product owners data scientists backend engineers and frontend engineers collaboratively working with some basic understanding of backend and frontend technologies including microservices databases data pipelines and frontend components.
