Scope of the Role

The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our team by reviewing and processing data from various sources augmenting missing data investigating transactions and contributing to special research projects.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Data Review and Identification: Review raw data from various data pipelines and identify relevant projects and database entries based on specific guidelines.
• OpenSource Research: Perform opensource research to complete missing data fields ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.
• Database Maintenance: Maintain and update database records through regular review of related opensource materials such as regulatory filings corporate records and other sources.
• Resource Identification: Collaborate with the team to identify additional resources and create new data pipelines to track pertinent information.
• Client Research Support: Contribute to client research projects by compiling and analyzing data delivering actionable insights.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst with a strong background in data processing and database maintenance.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential. Advanced Mandarin Chinese reading skills are highly desirable. Other language skills are a plus.
• Research Proficiency: Familiarity with opensource research and the ability to read and interpret corporate documents including company filings corporate records and policy documents in Chinese.
• Technical Skills: Competency in Microsoft Excel is required. Experience with additional software such as Retool and Python is beneficial.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to follow detailed guidelines maintain accuracy and stress test your own work.
• Remote Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a remote setting and collaborate with team members across different time zones (North America Europe and Asia).
