Be part of our client s team as a Junior Network Engineer responsible for ensuring the uptime and functionality of the Cato production system. Engage with global clients troubleshoot issues and contribute to the continual improvement of our network operations center team.

Fuel Your Role with Impactful Tasks

• Work in a shiftbased team 24/7/365.
  
• Own and manage Cato production system uptime and functionality including troubleshooting.
  
• Engage with concerned teams/persons to identify and solve issues.
  
• Engage investigate and follow up with customers about service status.
  
• Track and monitor system status identifying areas of concern and growth opportunities.
  
• Mitigate outages and system malfunctions to ensure no customer effect.
  
• Engage with 3rd party service providers for resolution of network/system issues.
  
• Provide highertier support for last mile issues.
  
• Contribute to building improving and expanding Catos NOC team.
  
• Train and assist team members to address knowledge gaps.
  
• Take part in ongoing projects and customer onboarding processes.
  
• Conduct Welcome calls with customers and act as a focal point for support/field Engineering.
  
• Contribute to continual service improvement by updating and creating processes and procedures.
  

Requirements

Unlock Your Potential with Required Skills

• English proficiency: C1 level (MUST).
  
• 12 years of experience supporting and monitoring network systems.
  
• Background as an experienced Support Engineer/IT sys admin/NOC/Network Operations Engineer.
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  
• Strong computer skills with a focus on networking TCP/IP Firewalls and proxy servers.
  
• Experience with ISP DNS DHCP NAT HTTP/HTTPS.
  
• Ability to read applicative system logs and troubleshoot issues.
  
• Exceptional troubleshooting abilities.
  
• Experience with Cloud and SaaS technology providers.
  
• Familiarity with network and security protocols and standards.
  
• General networking knowledge such as MTR Wireshark TCP/IP CISCO Fortigate.
