DevOps Engineer

Position: DevOps Engineer

Location: New Jersey (Onsite and hybrid)

Type: W2 Contract

Interview: Inperson final interview required

Responsibilities:

• Manage IT Software Configuration Release & Deployment process execution ensuring quality and velocity.
• Automate fundamental release and deployment tasks through scripting.
• Establish CI/CD pipeline for applications emphasizing CLI automation.
• Maintain production and nonproduction configurations troubleshoot incidents and automate tasks.
• Document deployment procedures across various technologies and platforms.
• Improve efficiency of handoffs between migration testing and SDLC tasks.
• Learn and implement new technologies and deployment techniques.

Requirements:

• 35 years of experience in DevOps or Agile software development processes.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps JIRA and Terraform.
• Scripting knowledge in Powershell Ant Python or Perl (35 years).
• Familiarity with GIT/GIT HUB Puppet Chef and automation testing.
• Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure management.
• Understanding of CI/CD/CM pipelines integration.
• Ability to facilitate work items and handoffs between Architecture DEV QA and Ops teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Puppet Chef for provisioning systems on Azure.
• Experience in automating code testing.
