HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver - Brick and Grab

The role involves driving Class 2 Vehicles operating the grab crane to complete the customer deliveries to various sites private addresses and new developments.

Duties:

Daily vehicle safety checks

Checking vehicle loads are secure

Mixture of RDC Local Depots and Commercial deliveries

Delivering builders materials and other products

Carrying out deliveries in a professional and timely manner

Be flexible comfortable working alone and confident with driving a variety of vehicles

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence (Category C) with no more than 6 points

Uptodate CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

Up to date HIAB Certificate is required Brick / Grab Attachment Essential

You must be able to operate the crane on delivery/collection.

Previous experience completing deliveries

No major traffic offences No DR DD TT99 or NI codes accepted

Compliance with legislation Maintaining an accurate record of break times according to WTD regulations (drivers hours highway regulations)

Adhering to both agencies and clients regulations and procedures

Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered

Your HIAB Certificate must be accredited by one of the below bodies:

RTITB Road Transport Industry Training Board
ITSSAR Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register
NORS National Operator Registration Scheme
AITT Association of Industrial Truck Trainers
NPORS National Plant Operators Registration Scheme

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday

Start times vary

Weekend availability required
