Senior Mixologist - Mumbai

1. Develop and curate a creative and innovative cocktail menu featuring a diverse range of signature drinks classic cocktails and seasonal offerings in collaboration with the Beverage Director or management team.
2. Lead and train bartending staff on cocktail preparation techniques proper use of equipment and adherence to quality and presentation standards fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
3. Stay informed about industry trends new ingredients and innovative techniques in mixology incorporating them into the cocktail program to keep offerings fresh and exciting.
4. Maintain inventory control procedures including monitoring stock levels ordering supplies and managing costs to ensure profitability while minimizing waste and spoilage.
5. Create and maintain standardized recipes for all cocktails ensuring consistency in flavor presentation and quality across all service areas.
6. Conduct regular tasting sessions and menu reviews with management and staff to solicit feedback evaluate performance and make necessary adjustments to enhance the cocktail program.
7. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop cocktail pairings and incorporate culinary ingredients into cocktail recipes creating synergy between the beverage and food offerings.
8. Oversee the setup and organization of the bar area including proper storage of ingredients glassware and equipment to ensure efficient operations and compliance with health and safety regulations.
9. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests answering questions about cocktails and making recommendations based on their preferences and tastes.
10. Assist in planning and executing special events promotions and themed nights creating unique beverage experiences to attract and retain guests.
11. Handle guest feedback and complaints regarding beverage service promptly and professionally taking appropriate action to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
12. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the cocktail program through social media special promotions and other marketing channels to drive revenue and increase brand awareness.

1. Proven experience as a mixologist or head bartender in a highvolume upscale establishment with a strong knowledge of cocktail preparation techniques flavor profiles and mixology principles.
2. Extensive knowledge of spirits liqueurs bitters and other cocktail ingredients as well as their origins production methods and flavor characteristics.
3. Creative flair and passion for mixology with the ability to develop unique and memorable cocktails that appeal to a diverse range of tastes and preferences.
4. Strong leadership and teambuilding skills with the ability to motivate and inspire bartending staff to deliver exceptional service and achieve performance targets.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with guests colleagues and management.
