Key Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Design build and maintain highly reliable and scalable systems that meet the companys service level objectives (SLOs).
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including software engineers system administrators and network engineers to define reliability and performance requirements.
• Develop and implement monitoring alerting and incident response strategies to proactively identify and resolve issues in production environments.
• Perform capacity planning and resource management to ensure optimal system performance and scalability.
• Automate operational tasks and build selfhealing systems to reduce manual intervention and increase overall system reliability.
• Conduct postincident reviews and root cause analysis to identify system weaknesses and propose solutions for preventing similar incidents in the future.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize service disruptions during unforeseen events.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance and reliability through code reviews performance tuning and architectural enhancements.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices emerging technologies and trends in site reliability engineering to drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in an oncall rotation and respond to incidents in a timely manner ensuring system uptime and availability.

Qualifications Experience and Competency Requirements:

Education:

Bachelors in computer related field such as Computer Science Information Systems or Management Information Systems

Experience

Essential:

• Minimum of 5 8 years of experience in Cloud Engineer and Support.
• Strong experience with Enterprise Cloud platform deployments at scale: AWS Azure (any certification will be appreciated)
• Strong experience with Cloud architecture especially on Infrastructure setup (Network Infra as code monitoring )
• Strong understanding of networking systems architecture and microservices architecture
• Experience with Linux and Windows system administration
• Knowledge in OS automation tools (Ansible Puppet Chef Saltstack etc..)
• Great testdriven coding abilities using git in Python Typescript and ReactJS
• Mastering of at least one cloud orchestration technology (CloudFormation Terraform)
• Experience with application orchestration and packaging (Jenkins Bamboo Packer Artifactory Nexus )
• Unwavering commitment to operational security and best practices
• Proven track record working in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban projects.
• Selfmotivated driven and capable of working unsupervised

Desirable:

• Masters degree in computer science Engineering or Electronics areas
• Working experience on Agile way of working on projects and support system. Understand best practices and processes in alignment with organizational context and types of projects!
• Strong analytical skills to solve problems.
• Knowledge on incident and change management.
• Act as an escalation point and mentor to junior employees.
• Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
• Strong inquisitiveness to stay in touch with groundbreaking technologies.
• Willingness to take on standby duties if necessary.
