Objective and Purpose:Technical Documentation is paramount in the highly regulated medical device industry and Ascom is committed to ensuring compliance with all requirements. As a Technical Documentation Specialist you will play a crucial role in developing preparing and maintaining documentation for users service engineers and other technical stakeholders.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Write distribute collect store and maintain documentation for Ascom products and offerings.
• Produce highquality technical documents such as data sheets installation instructions user manuals and system documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements for Instructions for Use.
• Maintain Ascoms document publishing platform and lead reviews to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather necessary information for documentation updates.
• Design user documentation for optimal functionality readability and consistency.
• Provide training coaching and feedback to contractors and new employees working with user documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in information design or related field or equivalent experience.
• 35 years of working experience in technical documentation.
• Knowledgeable about Ascoms product portfolio.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in text layout design and graphical skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
