Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to guests following company recipes and standards onboard the cruise ship
Take and process drink orders from guests ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times adhering to sanitation and safety standards
Monitor and control inventory levels ensuring that all supplies are wellstocked and accounted for
Provide recommendations and suggestions to guests based on their preferences and the available menu options
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
Work closely with the bar team to ensure smooth operation of the bar and timely service to guests
Follow all company policies and procedures including those related to safety and security
Attend training sessions and meetings as required
Perform other duties as assigned by the Bar Manager or other members of the management team
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bartender in a highvolume bar or restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of various types of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages as well as their proper preparation and presentation
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Flexible schedule and willingness to work long hours including evenings weekends and holidays
Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid bartending license or certification
Fluent in English additional languages are a plus
