Job Description

Description:

  • Must be able to stand on your feet for the majority of the day and work in hot conditions as well as crawl under lines and climb ladders.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to work weekends as necessary.
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.
  • No travel.
  • Mechanic: 3 years (Required).


Responsibilities:

  • The hours are: 7pm1am or 1am7am on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday and then Thursday and Friday or Saturday Sunday 12hr shift 7pm 7am.
  • Weekends required (alternating shift switches each week).
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with highspeed production line equipment (e.g. mechanical drive systems hydraulic and pneumatic systems conveyors).
  • Working with Electrical staff troubleshoot and repair electrical problems with packaging/processing equipment such as wiring circuits fuses switches motors and drives.
  • Complete routine preventative maintenance tasks safely cost effectively and on time.
  • Support food safety quality and continuous improvement activities.
  • Request the design/fabrication of replacement parts or equipment as needed.
  • Take lead to consult with internal resources to resolve issues and make improvements to equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area ensuring work space and storage areas are free from debris and clutter.
