General Overview of Position

To facilitate the smooth running of a focused laser/Versacam department, ensure glass is engraved in a timely manner and within the boundaries of the daily program, liaising with management on any issues and backlogs. Must be able to work individually with minimum supervision but also as part of a team to manage daily workloads in the most efficient way in conjunction with the management team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Must be able to operate glass engraving machines (laser/sand-blast).
• Must be fully conversant with all Versacam operations.
  Fault finding and rectification on artwork (simple amendments).
• Cylindrical engraving
• Maintenance of plant machinery, liaise with management on any larger jobs that require outside engineers.
• QC checking on individual orders and reporting defects using internal systems.
• Act as the first point of contact for the artwork coordinator.
• Warehouse duties, to include picking/packing and assisting with stock control.
• General house-keeping for the laser/Versacam area.
