As a Fullstack Team Lead you will join a passionate team leading the designs of the next generation of featurerich businessessential platforms. The client offers an opportunity to mentor engineers and help them design for stability performance and scalability across services or clients while rolling up your sleeves and getting handson with various code bases.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering you will work with diverse remote teams. The client is located in NYC but has a remotefirst culture and this is a remote role.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with technologies such as Node.js Express React Typescript/Javascript and GCP is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in proposing experimenting and iterating on technical solutions.
• Proven track record of improving the quality of software systems with a keen interest in building faulttolerant scalable systems.
• Experience mentoring and coaching junior engineers.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• All backgrounds are welcome as we believe diversity fuels creativity and contributes to the success of our products.
• Having experience working with Flutter is a big plus.
• Anything else is a bonus

Responsibilities:

• Become an expert in the business and technical domains
• Lead the planning execution and release of complex technical projects
• Work with partners product managers and designers to solve challenging problems
• Collaborate with other engineers on the team to improve technology and apply best practices
• Implement stepwise technical migrations of the existing services and applications.
• Grow the team by attracting onboarding and coaching new/junior engineers.

What you will be working on:

• Seamlessly onboard new customers and manage their orders.
• Build a smart business card platform that connects members with prospective leads.
• Support large enterprise customers by integrating their HR systems for onboarding and managing employees business cards.
• Develop our internal tools which provide operational assistance to internal departments and vendors in the design printing and shipping of the clients smart business cards.
• Further roll out a microservice architecture that offers the building blocks needed to scale the clients services and products.

There are several small engineering teams within the company (the teams consist of Frontend and Backend Engineers theyre all located in India):

• GrowthTeam: 1 React Engineer 1 Woocommerce Engineer 2 Backend Engineer Team Lead
• Product Team: 2 Flutter Engineers 2 Backend Engineers
• Operations Team: 1 Front End/React Engineer 2 Backend Engineer

The client is looking for a Team Lead for the Product team.

Each team has its own Product Manager who will be working closely with the Lead Developer on the task distribution. Also the company has its Project Managers who will help the teams.
