Job description:

The Finance Operations specialist will have a key position in Powerdots Finance Operations team supporting the financial structuring of the company.

You can expect a fulltime paid internship for at least 6 months (starting in January 2023) and by the end of the program top performers will have the opportunity to continue their career adventure with us with a nonterm contract.

Main responsibilities:

• Support the definition of processes for the AP management treasury and payroll areas
• Support the approval and validation of invoices to make sure they are in line with the defined processes
• Submit certain invoices in the AP management system
• Support cash management procedures
• Support the preparation of payroll information
• Be the owner of the finance ticket management system by defining an owner per request and providing fast feedback to our customers (internal and external)
• Owner of the finance company email and communication with external parties
• Manage finance documentation & administrative processes including physical mail

The candidate we are looking for:

• Bachelors degree in Business Economics Finance accounting or in a similar area
• No previous job experience is required
• Is fluent in both oral and written English
• Is based in Lisbon or willing/looking to relocate to Lisbon
• High entrepreneurial spirit independence and decisionmaking capacity
