Role Overview: Key Responsibilities of a Pharmacist Manager

As the Pharmacist Manager you will:

• Lead mentor and manage the pharmacy team to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care and service.
• Oversee the dispensing of medications accurately and efficiently complying with all legal professional and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and maintain the highest standards of health and safety completing audits and risk assessments as necessary.
• Drive the business forward through effective financial management marketing strategies and enhancing pharmacy services offered.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the local community healthcare professionals and suppliers.
• Keep abreast of developments in the pharmaceutical industry showcasing commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a professional who exhibits:

• Registered Pharmacist status with the GPhC and proven experience within a community or hospital pharmacy setting.
• Previous management or supervisory experience in a pharmacy setting is highly desirable.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Working Hours & Benefits:

This is a fulltime position typically 40 hours per week with a possibility for flexibility to cover additional shifts if needed.
