Red Ember is recruiting an experienced bookkeeper for a client based in Lower Observatory.
- Compilation of financial statements
- Monthly processing
- VAT/EMP recons and submissions
- Submission of tax returns
- Provisional tax calculations and submissions
- Personal income tax calculations and submissions
- Assistance with daytoday administration for the finance department
- Filing/Scanning
- Stationary orders and maintenance
- Summarizing of client information in Excel
Requirements
- Diploma /Bachelors/ N6
- Knowledge of relevant computer programs such as Pastel and Microsoft Excel
- Previous Books to Trial balance experience
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Bilingual in English / Afrikaans
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
