Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Business Case Development Lead to join their team.

The Business Case Development Lead will handle the development and management of business case/s across the full range of DTRS capabilities needed to procure to modernise their DTRS network. This role will work closely with project teams key stakeholders and vendors to implement a scalable robust consistent and integrated approach to business case development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Program DTRS Director and Program sponsors to develop the DTRS implementation program business case run overall process gather cost inputs and realizable benefits.
  2. Complete detailed cost modelling leveraging inputs from Internal/external stakeholders and Vendor solution procurement evaluation processes.
  3. Develop the inputs to the treasury business case cost benefits analysis program benefits realization leveraging Economic & Fin Analysis for projects . Validate commercials of the preferred vendor solution/s leveraging multiple options for consideration.
  4. Assist Program Director with communication to key stakeholders to ensure that business case strategy and assumptions are well understood. This includes articulating scope assumption constraints and evaluation methodologies.

Selection Criteria:
  1. Demonstrated experience in leading the development of large scale complex transport or infrastructure related business cases; and/ or leading a significant business improvement program.
  2. Program Planning scheduling and program Budgeting and Forecasting skills gained from other large programs program officer and/or large operational technology units
  3. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of multidisciplinary specialists to facilitate their ongoing professional development maximise performance to deliver diverse and complex operational services
