Overview:
The Web Development (PHP WordPress) role is crucial to our organization as it involves creating and maintaining dynamic websites using PHP and WordPress. The individual in this role will play a significant part in ensuring that our online presence remains engaging userfriendly and functional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain websites using PHP and WordPress
- Customize and enhance existing WordPress themes and plugins
- Collaborate with designers to implement and maintain web design
- Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability
- Integrate data from various backend services and databases
- Ensure crossbrowser compatibility and responsiveness
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Debug and troubleshoot website issues
- Coordinate with web content developers to ensure a cohesive design and functionality
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to web development
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven work experience as a web developer with expertise in PHP and WordPress
- Strong understanding of frontend technologies including HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design
- Good understanding of SEO principles
- Familiarity with tools such as Git and debugging tools
- Ability to work in a team environment and good communication skills
- Problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience with thirdparty APIs and web services
