Job Description
Position Overview:
As a Fresher Trader you will be responsible for learning and executing trading strategies across various financial markets including stocks bonds commodities currencies and derivatives. This entrylevel position offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in the dynamic field of trading under the guidance of experienced professionals. You will analyze market trends develop trading strategies and execute trades to maximize profitability while adhering to risk management protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct research and analysis of financial markets to identify trading opportunities.
- Monitor economic indicators news events and geopolitical developments that may impact market movements.
- Utilize technical analysis tools and charts to identify trends and patterns for trading decisions.
- Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with senior traders to develop and refine trading strategies based on market analysis and risk parameters.
- Participate in backtesting and simulation exercises to evaluate the performance of trading strategies.
- Trade Execution:
- Execute trades across various asset classes through trading platforms or directly with brokers.
- Monitor trade execution and ensure timely entry and exit from positions.
- Manage trade orders including limit orders stoploss orders and profittaking orders.
- Risk Management:
- Implement risk management protocols to mitigate potential losses and ensure compliance with risk limits.
- Monitor portfolio exposure and adjust trading strategies as needed to maintain riskreward balance.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies related to trading activities.
- Performance Tracking:
- Keep detailed records of trading activities including trade rationale entry/exit points and performance metrics.
- Analyze trading performance to identify strengths weaknesses and areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate trading results and insights to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance Economics Mathematics Engineering or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for financial markets and trading.
- Excellent mathematical and quantitative abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel financial modeling and statistical analysis.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and competitive environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving market conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant internships or coursework in trading quantitative finance or related fields.
- Familiarity with trading platforms and software tools used in the financial industry.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python R or MATLAB for data analysis and automation.
- Understanding of risk management principles and trading psychology.
