Job Summary
The Systems developer will design developer administer and support the major transformation of our customer s digital user experience using Salesforce Experience Cloud. Our customer uses Copado as their deployment and release management solution for Salesforce.
A key element of the role will be to design and develop a portal using Experience Cloud. Integrations via Mulesoft connectors and custom REST API integrations will be required. There is a heavy onus on surfacing custom Lightning Web Components to a customerfacing site in accordance with preexisting CSS styling attributes to provide a consistent user experience across the enterprise s customerfacing sites.
Responsibilities & Duties
.
Provide system development and administration on Salesforce Experience Cloud (LWR).
.
Work with users product owners and team members to understand requirements and help translate these into development tasks. Consult users regarding system functionality and usability to enhance user experience.
.
Demonstrate application features to user and stakeholders either face to face or remotely.
.
Follow internal processes and standards for managing software development across its lifecycle from initial design to regular feature releases and bug fixes.
.
Consistently provide accurate estimates to deliver on time and within estimate.
.
Consistently deliver quality work that passes QA standards in most cases first time.
.
Creating and running unit tests. Peer testing development of new features. Conduct manual and automated tests against work to ensure it meets customer expectations.
.
Advise on opportunities for Salesforce to enhance corporate efficiency and effectiveness.
.
Maintain system documentation.
Essential Skills
.
5 year of industry experience 2 years of demonstratable professional experience on Salesforce development.
.
Must have Salesforce developer certification.
.
A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to work on own initiative as well as contribute towards the team success.
.
Excellent problemsolving skills.
.
A Salesforce Platform Developer certification or higher Experience Cloud Consultant qualification preferred.
.
Development of Salesforce CRM including custom APEX & modern JavaScript
.
Strong experience in developing Lightning Web Components
.
Experience of LWR Salesforce Experience Sites and the building of solutions on this platform
.
Experience of Agile Methodologies (preferably Scrum)
.
Experience using Salesforce DX Visual Studio Code and Source Control Integration.
.
Experience using SOQL and JSON
.
Experience in lowlevel CSS styling.
.
REST API integrations.
.
Implementing SSO solutions whereby Salesforce is a Service Provider with an external Identity Provider.
.
Knowledge of Copado for CICD and testing (Copado CRT) is preferable as you will be expected to write your own test scripts.
.
Familiar with integrations where Mulesoft is the middle layer and how this data can be surfaced in Salesforce.
.
Knowledge of implementing custom opensource frameworks into Salesforce such as Data Visualisation Libraries for surfacing reports from raw chart data
.
Deploying configuration / developments into a sandbox environment
.
Exposure to version control and CI using GitLab
.
Excellent communication and documentation capabilities
.
Strong knowledge in secure programming principles as all code will pass through static code analysis
Nice to have Skills
.
A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to work on own initiative as well as contribute towards the team success.
