Radio Frequency Technician

Summary

In this role you will provide services to the countrys largest wireless telecommunications providers as well as the largest Highspeed Internet & Cable providers. The Repair Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repair to a component level to ensure an efficient and timely process for completing repair orders and projects. The Repair Technician will utilize soldering equipment to repair modify and change parts on electronic circuit boards and 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment.

2nd shift 2:30pm 11:00PM

Roles & Responsibilities

• Tests troubleshoots and repairs RF circuit boards used in RAN equipment.
• Troubleshoots to the component level.
• Work with Remote Radio Head (RRH) engineering team interacting closely with engineers and technicians.
• Use network analyzers to gather RF data for reports in the support of RRH product development.
  
• Reads and works from schematics.
  
• Run PIM (Passive Intermodulation) test equipment to troubleshoot and repair antenna prototypes.
  
• Maintains satisfactory Quality performance levels.
  
• Maintain a clean organized work station.
  
• Trains and/or assists other Technicians in aspects of repair.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with receive & amplifier circuits
• Electronics Certification
• Pass a Technical Aptitude Test

Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess knowledge of RF principles.
• Possess soldering and desoldering skills.
• Indepth knowledge of electronic circuit componentry and theory.
• Must be able to use signal generator.
• Must be able to use Spectrum analyzer.
• Must possess knowledge of VSWR ACLR & feedback circuits.
