Project Engineer- Electrical

Responsibilities:

• Using technical expertise recommend corrective solutions to specific energy projects through performing engineering studies analysis and investigations
  
• Collect collate and analyze data using predetermined tools methods and formats
  
• Assist with power generation/delivery substation underground/overhead transmission distribution storage and/or renewable systems
  
• Ensure work is completely efficiently through the creation/execution of procedures and instructions
  
• Review/test current procedures and make improvements as needed
  
• Build internal/external relationships to support project team
  
• Develop/maintain systems designs specifications standards models and procedures
  
• Keep current on market/regulatory developments
  
• Ensure practices and health/safety standards in compliance with polices/regulatory requirements
  

Requirements:

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program
  
• 8 years of experience developing and/or designing the following:
  

• Power generation
  
• Delivery
  
• Transmission
  
• Distribution
  
• Motor control systems
  
• Variable frequency drives
  
• Protective relays
  
• Standby power generation
  
• PLC controls
  

• EIT required
  
• PE License preferred
  
• Background as consulting developer or a utility background preferred
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
  
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Easy Power (or other electrical system analysis software) preferred
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
