Our client is one of the largest US based mutual life insurance company committed to innovation and customer satisfaction seeking a dynamic CDO to lead data strategy and initiatives function.

Position Overview:

As the Chief Data Officer you will be responsible for driving our data strategy to enhance business performance and operational efficiency. You will oversee all aspects of data management analytics governance and innovation. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in data management analytics and leadership with a focus on mentoring analytics and data science teams in developing predictive solutions and business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the design and implementation of data governance frameworks policies and procedures to ensure data quality integrity privacy and security.
• Mentor analytics and data science teams to develop predictive solutions and insights that inform business strategy and drive operational efficiency.
• Drive datadriven decisionmaking by providing insights and analytics to support strategic initiatives across the organization.
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to optimize processes improve customer experience and drive revenue growth.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of data infrastructure including data warehouses data lakes and analytics platforms.
• Lead the development of innovative datadriven solutions to address business challenges and opportunities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in data management and analytics.
• Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization promoting a culture of belonging and respect for all employees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in data management analytics and leadership roles with a focus on mentoring analytics and data science teams in developing predictive solutions and business insights.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing data strategies that drive business value and competitive advantage.
• Strong understanding of data governance privacy and security principles and regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA).
• Experience working in the insurance industry or financial services sector preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
