Overview:
Our client is looking to add a construction administrator to the design team in Evansville IN. We are looking for someone to join a team of architects engineers planners and interior designers who thrive on working together to create holistic designs for our workplace education community and healthcare clients
Requirements:
- 8 years of relevant experience in architecture or construction management
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED/WELL AP is preferred
- Basic knowledge of Revit
- Proven knowledge of construction specifications is preferred
- Professional and positive attitude with great problemsolving abilities
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Architecture
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Principal responsible for the individual project
- Develop project construction budgets and timelines
- Assist in construction document quality control
- Coordinate bidding and negotiation project efforts
- Lead construction administration on large projects
- Attend Job site meetings perform field observations and issue field reports
- Lead construction closeout
- Cultivate positive contractor relationships
- Develop standard practices for firmwide construction administration procedures
- Display knowledge of industry standards and an understanding of building codes industry trends building structures and architectural advancements
