Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Post Production, the Colour Grader will work across a range of factual, reality, documentary, promotional and lifestyle television programs. He/she will be responsible for enhancing and manipulating the colour of visual program output. Using specialized software and a trained eye to create a cohesive and visually appealing final product to the Series Producer, producer and director vision. They play a crucial role in shaping the overall look and feel of a series or individual production.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Adjusting and enhancing the colour of recorded footage to ensure consistency and visual appeal across different shots and scenes.
  • Applying creative colour grading techniques to establish a specific mood or tone for the individual television or promotional production.
  • Working closely with series producers, directors, cinematographers, and editors to understand their vision and ensure the color treatment aligns with the overall aesthetic of the project.
  • Operating Da’Vinci Resolve on Blackmagic Da,Vinci Advanced Color Grading Control Panel to achieve desired color effects while maintaining technical standards for broadcast quality.
