Position Description

Physical Therapist, Vidalia, GA

Position Type: Permanent Contingent

SHIFT Full-time • Days (Rotating Weekends- once every quarter)

SHIFT: M-Thurs 8-5:30 and Fri 8-3:p.m

Memorial Health Meadows Hospital is a regional health system featuring a state-of-the-art hospital, cancer center and a network of physician practices that serve Vidalia, Ga. and the surrounding communities. Meadows Health includes the only nationally accredited hospital in Montgomery, Toombs, Treutlen and Tattnall counties. The center offers the latest in medical advancements including cutting-edge cancer care, life-saving heart attack procedures, women’s services, wound care, orthopedic medicine and more.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).

Job Summary and Qualifications

To perform thorough patient evaluations and to develop and implement treatment plans for all assigned patients as well as delegate responsibilities and supervise supportive personnel.


What you will do in this role:

  • Utilize appropriate, sound and current treatment techniques to effectively assess and treat patients maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
  • Exemplify outstanding customer service and act in an professional and respectful manner at all times.
  • Establishing, monitoring, and instructing patients through assessments on rehabilitation to gain or regain highest functional status and return to activities
  • Abide by departmental and hospital policies and procedures, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Efficient use of resources to achieve optimum productivity within the established service budget.
  • Provide PT services to patients under the direction of a physician (when needed) in accordance with the state practice act and ethical standards.

What Qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Current Georgia Licensure - Physical Therapy
  • BLS
  • Must have Dry Needling Experience
  • Outpatient Facility experience preferred

Additional Information

Compensation: Salary range from $31 - $45.00/ per hr based on years of experience
