Role: Java Developer

Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)

Job Description:

We are seeking a proficient Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing Java application software for data access manipulation and database operations. Additionally experience with the FileNet Suite of products is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Write Java application software for data access manipulation and database operations.
• Assist or lead in the design of program specifications to implement software solutions.
• Apply standard design patterns (J2EE) to solve complex business problems.
• Provide WebSphere and JBOSS Enterprise Application Server services.
• Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux and develop mainframe integration solutions.
• Analyze business processes and workflows and collaborate with nontechnical staff to develop system specifications and resolve issues.
• Utilize XML and web services in a J2EE environment.
• Perform testing implementation and prepare technical and user documentation for software conversions.
• Develop Java solutions with a focus on Web security protocols using LDAP and Okta.
• Configure management utilities for Java applications.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Java development with a focus on data access manipulation and databases.
• Familiarity with the FileNet Suite of products is preferred.
• Strong understanding of application standard design patterns (J2EE).
• Experience with WebSphere and JBOSS Enterprise Application Server services.
• Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration.
• Ability to develop mainframe integration solutions.
• Analytical skills for analyzing business processes and workflows.
• Knowledge of XML and web services in a J2EE environment.
• Experience with Web security protocols LDAP and Okta.
• Familiarity with configuration management utilities for Java applications.
