We are hiring HVO Senior Medical Scientist Grade into a Private Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the center of all we do.

Responsibilities
  • Acquaint yourself with and adhere to all hospital policies procedures and standards.
  • When necessary communicate with work together with and exhibit strong interpersonal skills with other departments.
  • Awareness of blood transfusion procedures and methods
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and administration
  • Help the coordinator of evigilance with data analysis and evigilance reports that are needed for the annual management assessment.
  • Examine and audit every facet of transfusion procedures within the context of the Blood Transfusion QMS.
  • For creating and revising the MBOs or Maximum Blood Ordering Schedules.
  • Maintain excellent multidisciplinary working relationships with all staff members by keeping in frequent contact with the Blood Transfusion Laboratory staff.
  • Verify that every procedure complies with hospital guidelines.







Requirements

  • Either be listed on the CORU register for Medical Scientists or be enrolled in the General Division of the NMBImaintained Register of Nurses.
  • Possess a minimum of three to five years of experience in a field related to the specialty or three years of experience working in a blood transfusion lab.
  • Prior experience developing and implementing educational programs and clinical assessment abilities
  • Capacity to gather examine and present data
  • Possess a track record of collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
