Overview

The HR Internship role is a vital position within our organization providing an opportunity for individuals to gain handson experience in the field of human resources. As an HR Intern you will have the chance to work closely with experienced HR professionals gaining insight into various HR functions such as recruitment employee relations and organizational development. This internship is designed to provide practical exposure to the HR industry and offers valuable learning opportunities for those pursuing a career in HR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruitment activities including job postings and candidate screening.
  • Support HR team with employee engagement initiatives and events.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and industry trends.
  • Assist in the coordination of training and development programs.
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as filing data entry and document preparation.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of onboarding activities for new hires.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of HRIS and personnel files.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining employee records and data.
  • Participate in HR project initiatives and process improvements.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide support in offboarding processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS systems.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Understanding of HR principles and employment laws.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proactive and eager to learn about various aspects of HR.
  • Basic knowledge of recruitment and selection processes.
