Position Overview/Project Details:
Seeking a temporary surgery scheduler to cover a maternity LOA. Position schedules for 34 providers approximately 2530 cases a week. Will need to arrange surgeries with hospitals arrange preops and obtain authorizations.

Compiles daily and weekly personnel assignment schedules. Studies schedules and staffing requests to ascertain personnel requirements. Examines worker availability and worker skill sets. Matches worker skill sets with staffing requests. This position is for surgery scheduling however will take medical receptionist experience. Will need to verify insurance obtain authorizations schedule surgeries obtain preop results schedule preop appointments and post op appointments return patient calls answer incoming calls and messages.


Minimum Qualifications & Experience: two years medical office experience.


Minimum Education: high school diploma
