Requirement Elicitation and Analysis:
Conduct meetings with stakeholders to gather both functional and nonfunctional requirements. Analyze and understand the business processes and workflows to ensure requirements align with business goals. Perform gap analysis to determine the current systems state versus the desired future state. User Story and Use Case Development:
- Translate requirements into detailed user stories and use cases.
- Create functional (e.g. system functionalities) and nonfunctional (e.g. system performance security) user stories.
- Ensure user stories are clear concise and comprehensible for technical teams and business stakeholders.
Solution Design and Creative ProblemSolving:
- Collaborate with the design and development teams to propose innovative solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop and present multiple solution options to stakeholders when faced with competing requirements.
- Use creative problemsolving skills to resolve conflicts and constraints in requirements.
Requirement Prioritization and Management:
- Prioritize requirements based on business value technical feasibility and stakeholder preferences.
- Maintain and update a backlog of user stories and requirements.
- Ensure all changes to requirements are documented and communicated to relevant parties.
Quality Assurance and Validation:
- Work closely with the QA team to develop test cases based on user stories.
- Participate in testing to ensure solutions meet the specified requirements.
- Validate the developed solutions against the initial requirements and user expectations.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Regularly update stakeholders on project progress and potential issues.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for endusers when required.
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence).
- Experience with diagramming tools (e.g. Visio) and requirement management tools.
- A good understanding of basic programming and database concepts is a plus.
- This role requires a balance of independent work and team collaboration.
- Expectation to adapt to changing technologies and business requirements.
- Occasional travel may be required for meetings with stakeholders or training purposes.
