Requirements

The position:

We are looking for a Senior ETL Developer with a strong background in planning developing executing and optimising ETL workflows and transformations. In your role as Senior ETL Developer you will oversee the planning creation and implementation of innovative data integration solutions making sure they meet corporate goals and industry standards. To comprehend data needs and provide reliable ETL solutions you will work closely with crossfunctional teams made up of data engineers analysts and business stakeholders. The ideal applicant will be wellversed in data warehousing principles and techniques in addition to having extensive understanding of ETL tools and technologies particularly Talend. You should also be able to work well in a fastpaced atmosphere have a high attention to detail and thrive at problemsolving.

• Create Develop Implement and Enhance ETL transformations and workflows.
  
• Proficiency and background in developing and implementing Talend ETL migration projects
  
• Possess a good foundation of practical Talend Studio knowledge including writing ETL with components and context variables.
  
• Put in place guidelines and policies for tool setups and ETL development.
  
• Take on the role of subject matter expert when required.
  
• Take responsibility for and actively oversee customer deliverables.
  

Required skills and qualifications:

• A bachelors degree in computer science or a similar discipline is required for education.
  
• At least six years of expertise with relational database technology (Snowflake MySQL PostgreSQL preferable).
  
• SQL proficiency and familiarity with databases for data extraction transformation and loading such as Snowflake PostgreSQL MySQL and SQL Server among others.
  
• Conceptual knowledge of data modelling and handson experience creating data models for ETL and data warehousing operations.
  
• Comprehensive understanding of the Talend ETL tool and practical expertise with it including the ability to create and implement intricate ETL jobs use components manage metadata and maximize performance.
  
• The capacity to create effective ETL procedures that extract data from several sources modify it as needed to meet business needs and then load it into the desired data warehouse or database.
  
• Recognizes the typical designs for data transfer (such as ETL ELT and ETLT) and knows when and how to use each.
  
• Knowledge of data quality principles and expertise putting data governance and quality checks into effect in ETL processes.
  
• Expertise in data manipulation and ETL process automation using scripting languages such as Python Java and Shell.
  
• Knowledge of big data technology for handling massive amounts of data such as NoSQL databases.
  
• Effective interpersonal skills and the capacity to learn and adjust to any assignment or technological advancement. efficient Implementation talents as well.
