Controller will be responsible for establishing monitoring and enforcing financial controls. The Controller works closely with Partners and Senior Leadership to support financial strategy and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information. The ideal candidate for this role has a proven background in finance and accounting with specific experience in a professional services space.
Duties/Responsibilities
- e.g. income statements balance sheets cash flow statements.
Qualifications
Education/Licensure
- Bachelors degree in business accounting or related field required
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
Experience
- 10 years of professional accounting experience
- 5 of which are in a seniorlevel accounting/controller capacity
- Understanding of national and local tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience managing financial processes (e.g. payroll payables receivables) with a focus on streamlining and accuracy
- Experience with Contract/JobCost Accounting preferably in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction industry
- Experience with using financial software and Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP) systems
- Experience working with legal entities under different legal umbrellas
