Roles & Responsibilities:

• Firmware and Software Development: Design and implement firmware and software for Microcontroller Units (MCUs) adhering to the specified architecture particularly in the context of RealTime Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Develop distinct layers of firmware according to the system architecture and create application software tailored for MCU functionalities. Additionally gather and analyze pertinent data for motor parameter estimation purposes.
• Debugging: Utilize debugging tools or bootloaders to ensure the flawless installation of errorfree software onto MCUs.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to devise userfriendly tools simplifying processes such as parameter updates and code flashing for all stakeholders.
• Testing: Formulate comprehensive test cases for both componentlevel and systemlevel testing of software ensuring compliance with various functional requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous documentation of all firmware and software developed including detailed records of collected data for parameter estimation.
• Establish and sustain a comprehensive test case matrix to monitor the fulfillment of MCU functional requirements accurately.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science Electronics Engineering or a related field (Regular).
• Motor Control Expertise: Proficiency in various motor control algorithms for IPMSM SPMSM BLDC and IM motors coupled with a solid understanding of power electronics principles.
• Hardware and Software Experience: Extensive experience working with microcontrollers Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) and embedded systems. Proficiency in embedded C programming is essential along with familiarity with Matlab/Simulink.
• Technical Skills: Demonstrated competence in compilation flashing and debugging processes and tools. Handson experience with microcontroller functionalities such as PWM ADC Interrupts DMA as well as familiarity with communication protocols including CAN I2C SPI and UART.
• RTOS and Testing Proficiency: Prior experience working with RealTime Operating Systems (RTOS) and a strong background in software testing methodologies.
