RecruitNet is looking for a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist CardioRespiratory Care for our private hospitals in Ireland.
We are currently recruiting a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist CardioRespiratory Care to work as an integral part of the team with the hospital.
Responsibilities
We are currently recruiting a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist CardioRespiratory Care to work as an integral part of the team with the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Serving as the main ICU physiotherapist you will need to plan organize and execute a successful inpatient cardiopulmonary rehabilitation service.
- To maintain your continued competence in your work stay up to date on the latest innovations abilities and technologies.
- To keep accurate records and data including workrelated accidents and injuries that are necessary for organizational and legal reasons.
- To assign these responsibilities to a capable Senior in the appropriate field or to review and update the CardioRespiratory Policy documents regularly
- To support team members professional and personal growth by promoting formal education inservice training and selflearning.
- to guarantee that appropriate safety measures are in place by the hospitals mission and core values as well as the Health Safety and Welfare at Work Act.
- To gather evaluate and convey data and information using clinical standards and service activity audits.
Requirements
- Candidates must have a physiotherapy degree or a comparable credential.
- CORU Registration mandatory.
- A minimum of five years of postgraduate experience in cardiopulmonary and respiratory care physiotherapy is required of candidates.
- Significant ICU and cardiothoracic experience in an acute hospital setting is required for this.
- Significant outpatient pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation is preferred.
- Additionally preferred is an appropriate postgraduate degree.
