Overview:
The IT Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams. They are responsible for analyzing business processes identifying needs and developing solutions to help the organization achieve its goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for improvement
- Create and maintain documentation of business processes and system requirements
- Work closely with development teams and provide support throughout the development lifecycle
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams
- Perform system testing and quality assurance
- Provide training and support to endusers
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support decisionmaking
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business or related field
- Proven experience in business analysis or related role
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Proficiency in translating business needs into technical requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Certification in Business Analysis or related field is a plus
