The company saw a 90% revenue growth year on year in 2023, with over 2.1 million visitors to their web platform.

This role offers a flexible hybrid work environment (1 day a week onsite from a central Sheffield HQ), combining the convenience of remote work with the benefits of in-person collaboration when required.

About the team

The business has grown to almost 100 employees in 2023 and has been named a fastest-growing technology company in Yorkshire and the Northeast in the 2023 Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50. Its a growing software engineering team of 5 that will be embarking on a period of significant growth in 2024.

About the Tech

The organisation leverage AWS and GCP so hands-on experience building complex systems using cloud services would be an advantage, as would DevOps and CI/CD experience.

The core tech stack currently consists of PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, TypeScript and Nuxt. While the talented team love working within the Laravel/Vue ecosystem but they're also open to exploring and seek to use the best tool for the job, striking a balance between developer experience, complexity, and performance.

You will have great communication skills, be hands-on and used to working in a high performing Agile Scrum team that will advocate best practices, and lead by example. The team are serious about their work, but don't take themselves too seriously.

Salary & Benefits

There's a starting salary of c 60,000 + an employer pension contribution and a range of flexible benefits including a health and wellbeing plan. There is a holiday allowance of 25 days + bank holidays and they are business who are determined to bring a good balance to your working life. This position is available for Software Engineers happy to spend a minimum of 1 day a week working from a stunning new office in the centre of Sheffield.
