Job Title: Rubrik Level 3 Support Engineer
Location: Remote (CST work hours)
Duration: Full Time
Salary: 15 18 Lakhs
Responsibilities:
1. Advanced Troubleshooting:
Provide expertlevel support for complex technical issues related to Rubrik solutions.
Diagnose and resolve escalated problems collaborating with Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
2. Incident and Problem Management:
Take ownership of escalated Rubrik incidents ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with customers.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and contribute to the problem management process.
3. Performance Optimization:
Monitor and analyze Rubrik system performance to identify and address bottlenecks or issues affecting backup and recovery operations.
Implement optimizations to enhance the overall performance and efficiency of Rubrik solutions.
4. Configuration and Deployment:
Assist in the configuration and deployment of Rubrik solutions including backup policies archival strategies and cloud integrations.
Collaborate with the architecture team to implement new features and improvements.
5. Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security best practices for Rubrik environments including access controls encryption and compliance with data protection regulations.
Stay informed about security vulnerabilities and apply patches to ensure a secure Rubrik environment.
6. User Training and Documentation:
Provide training and documentation for customers and internal teams on Rubrik best practices troubleshooting procedures and selfhelp resources.
Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles for common Rubrikrelated issues.
7. Change Management:
Participate in change management processes reviewing proposed changes to Rubrik environments and ensuring minimal impact on operations.
Execute approved changes and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.
8. Collaboration with Vendor Support:
Engage with Rubrik and other relevant vendors for advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Manage support tickets with vendors providing necessary information and ensuring timely resolution.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in providing Level 3 support for Rubrik environments.
  • Strong understanding of Rubrik architecture components and integration with diverse IT infrastructures.
  • Proficient in scripting (e.g. PowerShell) for automation and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Rubrik certifications are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication collaboration and interpersonal skills.
