    Corporate Channels Technical Development Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced technical solutions for Capital Bank's corporate channels, specifically focusing on cash management and trade finance solutions built on Finastra's Cash Channel and Trade Innovation systems. You will leverage your expertise in Java and vendor management to deliver efficient, secure, and integrated solutions that enhance the bank's capabilities to serve corporate clients effectively.

    Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of technical solutions for corporate channels, utilizing Finastra Cash Channel and Trade Innovation systems extensively.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed technical requirements for Finastra systems and Java-based integrations.
  • Ensure the security, reliability, scalability, and performance of corporate channel solutions, particularly those built on Finastra and Java technologies.
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for corporate channels development that aligns with business goals and customer needs.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to team members to foster professional growth and skills development.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to leverage third-party technologies and integrations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital development.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, coding practices, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the bank's overall IT strategy with a specific focus on leveraging Finastra solutions and Java development capabilities.
  • Lead initiatives to improve user experiences, optimize performance, and enhance digital features.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to corporate channel usage and engagement.
  • Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.
  • 9+ years’ experience in software development, with a proven track record of leading digital projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Java development and related technologies (e.g., Spring Boot, JUnit).
  • Experience working with APIs and web services.
  • In-depth knowledge of vendor management best practices and successful experience in managing relationships with key vendors like Finastra Partners.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and responsive web design.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile) and experience managing development teams with Java expertise.
  • Familiar with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Dedication to staying updated on digital trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
