Workforce Management Analyst

We are currently looking for a Workforce Management Analyst for one of our clients in the insurance industry.

What is in it for you:

Hourly salary of $32.14.
9month contract with strong potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime: 37.50 hours per week.
Work schedule: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Hybrid role: 2 days per month in the office.

Responsibilities:

Develop maintain and update capacity plans incorporating hiring timelines and analysis of attrition shrinkage and other relevant factors affecting capacity.
Assist operations in planning vacations training sessions and other events.
Aid in the creation of an annual staffing budget forecast.
Collect manipulate and analyze data pertaining to capacity supply and demand.
Gather operational insights on project impacts and other factors influencing planning or work volumes.
Determine optimal staffing levels based on forecasts capacity models and business constraints.
Evaluate and communicate variations from the plan analyzing causes and their impact on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Assist in balancing staffing requirements across different business units.
Collaborate within a team to provide analysis insights and recommendations to senior business leaders facilitating evidencebased operational decisions.
Collaborate with forecasters and schedulers to refine plans and ensure resource continuity.
Provide project teams with process recommendations workload/staffing forecasts and associated costs to support changes.
Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement within a Continuous Improvement environment.

What you will need to succeed:

Post Secondary Education in Business Administration Statistics Operations Research Computer Science Mathematics Econometrics or equivalent experience.
Experience working with data including transformation manipulation forecasting and statistical modeling.
Experience analyzing and data modeling business process data.
Experience working with time series data.
Experience with querying data using SQL.
Experience using Visual Basics to automate manual business processes.
Experience visualizing data with Tableau.
Demonstrated success working collaboratively within a team to produce results.
Ability to produce and communicate meaningful results from data.
Ability to effectively visualize and present complex data adapted to a variety of audiences to help with decisionmaking.
Ability to build partnerships work collaboratively and develop relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Ability to turn forecast volumes into capacity models.
Experience with Workforce Management Software (IEX Genesys Pega) (asset).
Experience using large databases with complex relationships between tables (asset).
Experience applying queueing theory to business problems (asset).
Experience solving optimization problems (asset).
